We’re passionate about Heights Libraries.

Our Mission

Our diverse community deserves a robust Library capable of serving everyone’s needs. Property taxes provide funding for basic Library services. The Fund for the Future of Heights Libraries raises funds for enhanced capital improvements for inclusive, educational, and environmentally responsible community spaces through public and private resources. 

Established in 2013 by the Heights Libraries Board of Trustees as a 501(c)(3) supporting organization, the Fund for the Future of Heights Libraries is aligned with Heights Libraries’ mission, vision, values, and strategic plan:

Cleveland Heights – University Heights Libraries fulfill community needs by providing free access for ALL to:

  • Safe, welcoming spaces and digital environment

  • Expert information and research assistance

  • Current and balanced materials

  • Outstanding services, programs, and classes

If so, consider joining our working Board. We apply our personal and professional skills to raise friends and funds for Heights Libraries’ capital investments. We need help planning and staffing events, telling everyone about the New Coventry PEACE Park, asking individuals and local businesses for donations, and evaluating, applying, and managing grants.
